Kohima PWD Youth Organization drive against illegal immigration

The PWD Youth Organization (PWDYO) held its second drive to check Illegal Immigrants within its jurisdiction on August 30. The first drive was conducted on November 27, 2017.

A press release from PWDYO president Ato Puro stated that the drive was carried out to check illegal immigrants staying within its jurisdiction with fake or forged papers and without valid documents.

The PWDYO through the press release reminded  land and house owners within Ward No-11 to not give their property on rent or lease to suspected illegal immigrants. 

It also warned those presently constructing houses to make sure the workers they hire have valid ILPs.

The PWDYO further thanked the three sector youth organizations namely Upper PWD Youth Organization (UPWDYO), Middle PWD Youth Organization (MPWDYO) and Lower PWD Youth Organization (LPWDYO) for the support rendered during the drive.
