Mon M-RVC task force meeting held

The 3rd Mon District Task Force meeting on the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign (M-RVC) was held on September 20 at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Chamber under the chairmanship of DC Mon, Thavaseelan K. 

A DIPR report said that during the meeting, various issues and action plans were discussed with regard to the M-RVC for successful vaccination in the districts. The campaign is set to kick off from October 3.

Dr. Imtijungshi Aier, DIO Mon, said that 62,038 children (from 9 months to 15 years of age) are the estimated beneficiaries of this MR vaccine in the district with 132 villages and towns and 330 schools to be covered.

Chief Medical Officer, Mon, Commanding Officer, 35 A/R, Mon, Superintendent of Police, Mon, District Programme Officer (UIP &RCH), Mon, District Education Officer, Mon, District Welfare Officer, Mon, District Public Relations Officer, Mon including representatives from, WHO,UNDP,UNICEF, Red Cross Society, District Planning Officer, ICDS, Mon and Executive Secretary, KBBB. President, Konyak Union, KNSK, KSU, Jama Masjid Committee, World Vision, Catholic Community, Hindu Community, Media representatives, Private Schools Union and Pastor KBCM attended the meeting.
