District level training for CSPs on livelihood

The Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), DMMU Longleng conducted a district level training for Community Service Providers (CSPs) for both the resource (Longleng block) and intensive block (Tamlu Block) on livelihoods at the MIS hall DRDA Longleng from September 25 to 27.

A press release from DRDA Longleng stated that the resource persons for the training were the district functional specialists Simon Sangsa Phom (Agriculture) and Lemjan B Phom (Livestock). 

The CSPs under agriculture and livestock were trained and shown demonstrations on seed selection, seed treatment, nutrition garden, second crop, generic organic practices, disease and pest management of crops, pig and poultry rearing along with a field visit to Bhumnyu village.

The program was chaired by M. Hentha DC-MIS followed by a key note address by Bendangmongba Phom, ADPM. 

A total number of 32 participants attended the Training.
