Blood donation camp at St. Joseph

Commemorating “National Voluntary Blood Donation Day”, a blood donation camp was organised by Department of Social Work, St. Joseph University, Dimapur, in collaboration with District Hospital, Blood Bank (NSBTC), Dimapur on October 1 under the theme “Happiness is Donating Blood”.

A press release by the university stated that senior specialist and blood bank in-charge of District Hospital Dimapur, Dr T. Temsu, motivated the students to donate blood for the noblest services and applauded their contributions for the society at large.  St. Joseph University, head of department of social work, Dr. PramodiniMagh, emphasized on the objectives of creating awareness and motivating the people about the importance of the voluntary blood donation.  The release informed that 400 students and faculties from various departments participated in the programme wherein 100 donors including students and faculties donated their blood.
