KMC warns on exorbitant rate

Administrator Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Kovi Meyase has informed to all the citizens of Kohima town, that due to incessant rain, many parts of the national highway roads were affected. 

In this regard, it has been reported that some shops/traders were taking advantage in selling essential commodities and other hardware items like cement, sand & bricks etc at an exorbitant prices. 

Kohima Municipal Council therefore directed all shop keeper/trader to strictly sell any item as per the prescribed rates, and action would be taken for the defaulters as per the rules. 

Kohima Municipal Council appealed the public to report to the KMC office for any item sold beyond the fixed price/rate.
