Luhevi village WATSAN as part of Swachh Bharat Mission organised a cleanliness awareness programme on October 2 at the village. A press release by the WATSAN committee stated head GB Luhevi village, Dr. L.K. Achumi called upon the inhabitants to led a healthy and clean life.
He also stressed on the importance of maintaining good sanitation, clean dirking water and proper toilet to prevent spread of diseases. Achumi also reminded the inhabitants that the village on October 24, 2014 had been declared as “clean, green and smoking free village”.
In the programme, vote of thanks was delivered by WATSAN committe chairman, Nitozu Zhimo while the prayer was led by Luhevi Village Pastor Khutovi.
