A Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) rally in connection with the special summary revision and photo electoral roll on the theme “Clean Electoral Roll for Clean Election” was held on October 6 at Clock Tower Tuensang Town.
A DIPR report stated that in the rally, L. Jamithung Lotha, DC and DEO Tuensang thanked the students for participation in the rally and urged the students get themselves enrolled if they had attained the age of 18 years.
He added that the right to vote was a democratic right of the people and one must enroll with proper documents to exercise their franchise and take part in clean election without taking any benefit from the candidates. The program was chaired by AEO Tuensang, Renben Mozhui.
