Skill training for unemployed youth batch 26 graduation day was held by Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre on September 27.
A press release by Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre coordinator, Regina Pamma Karai stated that the batch began training on July 16 with 67 trainees which concluded on September 26. All the trainees have received placement offers.
Father Innocent, principal of Don Bosco College, Kohima graced the occasion as the special guest. He congratulated the trainees for successfully completing the training. In his speech he exhorted the graduating trainees to “build your own dreams; if you don’t build your dreams others will use you to build their dreams.”
Brother Sunny Joseph executive director of AIDA appreciated the parents for sending their children for the skill training.
Fr. Joseph Boenzi SDB from the United States also addressed the gathering. He reminded the candidates that they were “privileged to have got employable skills and employment in a short time.”
As part of a collaboration, Taj has selected 18 candidates to work with them.
Earlier, Rouvinuo and friends welcomed the gathering and Marini and friends sang a Mao folk song. Yentinmongba and friends’ presented Naga folk dance and Bengthungo gave the vote of thanks. Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre will start batch 27 on October 8.
