Nagaland Parents Association for the Disabled (NAPAD) with the department of Health and Family Welfare issued disability certificates and ID cards for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), by the Social Welfare department, during the Mega Legal Services Camp (MLSC) organized by the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLA) and Tuensang District Legal Services Authority (TDLSA) in Tuensang on September 29. A press release from NAPAD secretary stated that on September 28, NAPAD along with commissioner for disabilities, Dr. Atha Vizol visited Baptist Thangyan School Mission Centre Tuensang. It also stated that in the year 2017 with the initiative of NAPAD, the National Institute for Mentally Handicapped (NIHM) provided computers to students. Dr. Atha Vizol created awareness and educated the masses on inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.
