Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) in Nagaland has reached a coverage of 3,23,308 children through 2,679 schools and 1,013 outreach sessions by the end of day 19 of the campaign. According to the department of health and family welfare, the department has been continuously conducting sessions even on weekends and keeping the health facilities open even during the Puja holidays to ensure that no child between 9 months and 15 years were left unvaccinated. The department has acknowledged all the officers and health workers who were tirelessly working since October 3 without any rest. Further, the department has requested all partners and stakeholders to keep cooperating in order to make sure that the future generation was free from the deadly Measles and Rubella diseases.
