Bhandari sub division block task force led by the medical department, Bhandari, carried out Measles Rubella Vaccination campaign with parents and students on October 23.
ADC Bhandari, Tiameren Chang, in his mobilization speech at DBHSS, Bhandari, encouraged the students to understand the health benefits of the campaign and to avail the opportunity for risk free, safe and secure life as young community of people, DIPR reported.
He also highlighted on the importance and necessity of being a vaccinated person to get admissions in reputed educational institutions and travelling opportunities anywhere in their future days as students by possessing the vaccine medical cards.
CMO incharge, CHC, Bhandari, Dr. Chonben said that for protecting the children against the killer diseases of measles and rubella, the best way is to get vaccinated to boost immunity.
Bhandari Students Union, president Longtsubemo Kikon called on the students community and their parents not to be misled by wrong information going around but to come forward and avail the given opportunity for their own good.
DBHSS, vice principal Fr. Obed chaired the programme.
