The 3-day Bookaroo Literature Festival for children is currently underway at Raj Bhavan and The Old DC Heritage Bungalow. It is the first, largest and only multi-city book festival that has also been held overseas, and is now in North East India in Kohima.
A total of 57 sessions are being held by 21 renowned speakers from different parts of the country.
Today’s event saw the participation of hundreds of students from different schools in Kohima. Workshops, storytelling, drama, art, craft, bookstores, author signing, food stalls etc were highlights of day two of the Bookaroo Festival.
The last day of the festival on Saturday (October 27) is open to everybody and will start at 11:00 am.
