Nagaland was awarded the “Silver Medal” at the 38th India International Trade Fair (IITF) held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from November 14 to 27.
Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Suresh Prabhu presented the award to Nagaland on the closing day of the trade fair on November 27. The state pavilion received the award for “First for Excellence in Display” among the North-Eastern States. Assam pavilion received the Gold Medal.
India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) promoted by IITF is touted as India’s largest integrated trade fair.
