Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles conducted an awareness interaction to discuss various government schemes at its battalion headquarters on November 27.
According to PRO HQ IGAR (N) the lecture was organized with an aim to spread awareness among youth about existing schemes of the central and state governments. 25 youth attended the lecture.
The Battalion also conducted an interactive session with functionaries of Wokha on November 20. Issues pertaining to development, health, education and women empowerment were discussed. The aim was to bridge the gap between Security Forces and village bodies. 14 GBs participated in the interaction.
