Tuensang village exporting ginger & cardamom

Organic ginger and cardamom of great quality is being cultivated in Tuensang village. Organic farmer’s unit L-Khel Tuensang village, B.I. Chaba Chang stated that so far, 5000 mts of large Cardamom and 15000 mts of ginger was cultivated and supplied to Seliguri (Assam) and other places. The farmers unit also stated that the Agriculture department in Tuensang has encouraged rural farmers and helped them with training and knowledge of agricultural techniques. The organic farmer’s unit lauded the effort made by the District Agriculture Officer Tuensang, the department overall and the Spice Board, and thanked them for all the assistance rendered and for helping farmers find a means of livelihood.
