Taking serious note of the raid carried out by some unknown miscreants at a shop in Mokokchung on Wednesday, the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has threatened to indefinitely shut down all shops unless the miscreants were arrested within 48 hours and put behind bars. In a missive to DC Mokokchung, MCCI president Tsukti Longkumer and general secretary Limalenden Longkumer said the miscreants, besides raiding the shop, took away 10 blankets. Such aggressive act created fear psychosis and instilled a sense of insecurity among business community, it said. In this regard, MCCI said that the executive council deliberated on the matter and resolved to take such action if there was no positive response within the next 48 hours.
