Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) official website was launched Tuesday by justice A.S. Bopanna, chief justice, Gauhati High Court and patron-in-chief, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) in the presence of justice Songkhupchung Serto, judge, Gauhati High Court & portfolio judge, Nagaland at the Gauhati High, Kohima Bench Complex.
A press release from NSLSA project assistant stated that, launching the website, justice A.S. Bopanna appreciated the efforts of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority in creating the website and said that information technology play an important role in almost every aspect of life by simply pressing a button.
He said the website would help the youths and many others to avail information with regard to the activities carried by NSLSA.
A brief introduction to the website was given by Nungsangchiba Jamir of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, where he explained the various function of the website and its technicalities and hoped that people from all walks of life would find this website useful.
The programme was chaired by Mezivolu T. Theireh, member secretary, NSLSA who also presented the welcome address.
Others who attended include registrar general of Gauhati High Court, principle to chief justice, registrar general of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, and staff of NSLSA, panel lawyers of state and Kohima district and others.
