Public Action Committee (PAC) of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD), which threatened to impose a 12-hour Dimapur bandh on December 7, 2018, on Wednesday informed that the proposed bandh has been rescheduled to December 10, 2018 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
It may be recalled that PAC has issued a 5-day deadline to arrest the main culprits involved in the firing incident on November 20 at Riven Honda showroom Dimapur failing which it had threatened to impose a 12-hour December 7 bandh.
Media Cell of PAC informed that a meeting of 19 tribal hohos, GBs union, DUCCF, BAN, DCCI and Naga women hoho Dimapur was held a meeting on Wednesday and discussed the prevailing situations expressed appreciation to the Dimapur police for setting up SIT to nab the perpetrators.
In this regard, PAC has appealed to the public to provide all inputs and support to the police in order to contain the criminal activities in and around Dimapur.
Meanwhile, in connection with the proposed bandh, PAC has convened a meeting on December 6, 2018 at 11am at NCD office to review the arrangements. It has, therefore, informed all the responsible members of PAC including the NCD councillors to attend the meeting.
