Public Health Engineer (PHE) department on Friday has informed consumers that water supply to Kohima will be disrupted due to improvement and widening of the National Highway from Phesama check gate to KMC check gate bye-pass.
EE, PHE (Urban Division) Kohima Er.P. Khetoi Sema in a press release also said that the main water supply pipeline from Phesama source has been damaged and water supply to the dairy farm area, Lerie colony, AG colony, PWD, Chandmari and some portion of Kohima town has been affected.
While expressing regret for the inconveniences caused, Er Khetoi said that the department was in the process of procuring materials for early restoration of water supply to the affected areas and request consumers to bear with the department.
