District Public Relations Office (DPRO) Kiphire organised a Pre-Christmas & Annual Picnic on December 7 at Zungki River, Kiphire.
A press release by DPRO Kiphire stated that District Public Relations Officer, K. Zeliang in his short speech stated that Christmas in its true sense was observed during the pre-Christmas celebration to show solidarity faith and share the joys of Christmas. K. Zeliang also stated that the staff had built a relationship as a family and they were celebrating pre -Christmas as children of God from different part of Nagaland serving the state Government.
According to Zeliang, service in any place is mission work and he encouraged the staff to work together as a team. Besides different activities, the staff also exchanged gifts and resolved to spread the message of peace and harmony among their fellow friends. Head assistant, H. Mongchom Khiamniugan, and assistant photographer, Achem Sangtam also spoke at the program.
