Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Pfutsero Government College (PGC) organized an awareness program on HIV & AIDS, with a motivational talk on blood donation under the theme, “My life, my right” on December 6.
A press release from RRC, PGC nodal officer, Nuveta Khusoh stated that, resource persons were Chongkoi Khaming, assistant director SACS, Alipoker, assistant director NSACS, Metevinuo Sakhrie, joint director NSACS and Priscilla Imchen, district assistant (IEC) Kohima.
They spoke on the importance of blood donation, criteria for donating blood and also discussed the basics of HIV, the AIDS & HIV scenario, and its treatment and prevention.
The program was chaired by Nuveta Khusoh.
