The monthly Kiphire District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on December 5 at the Conference Hall of the deputy commissioner’s office, under the chairmanship of DC and vice chairman Kiphire, DPDB, Mohammed Ali Shihab.
According to a DIPR report, the DC welcomed all DPDB members to the meeting and introduced new member, DAO Kiphire.
The DC expressed gratitude to all district officers for the time rendered during the cabinet meeting conducted on November 9 and 10, 2018. The DC also expressed gratitude to tribal hohos of Kiphire district for their support in various activities.
The meeting also reviewed the aspirational district progress.
The meeting discussed agendas of construction of a multipurpose auditorium at Pungro sub-division, creation of science & commerce stream at Government Higher Secondary School at Kiphire & Pungro under School Education, opening of new primary school at Threntsuvong village under Pungro, construction of approach road from Seyochung town ADC Hq via New Monger village via Shumukuji via Shagsi project to Titha River, construction of football ground at Amahator town and reuse of abandoned road at Kiphire, to be forwarded to EE, R&B for necessary action taken.
The board also reconstituted the LADP verification team for 59 A/C for the year 2018-2019.
