Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD), in association with Loomba Foundation & Lions Club International, distributed free foot sewing machines to widows at Lions Centre, Dimapur on November 3.
A press release from LCD PRO, Sushil Paharia stated that the program was chaired by additional deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Albert Ezung as the special invitee. The club distributed 30 foot sewing machines for free to the widows to help them sustain their livelihoods. The main objective of the project is the upliftment of widows. The program was organized under the chairmanship of Kamal Sharma.
