At a solemn religious ceremony held at Mother Teresa House, Kolkata on December 7, Hantsula Yimchunger from Shamator professed her commitment to be a fulltime missionary and to be at the service of the poorest of the poor following the footsteps of Saint Mother Teresa in the congregation of Missionaries of Charity (MC). A press release from Rev. Fr. Leo Chase, Shamator stated that the function was attended by many priests, sisters, laity and family representatives.
The program included Eucharistic celebration concelebrated by six priests from Nagaland.
Hantula Yimchunger, having taken vows of poverty, chastity, obedience and service to the poorest of the poor will now be known as Rev. Sr. M. Chris John MC.
