Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) expressed gratitude and appreciation to all district GB associations for successfully holding peace rallies and submitting memorandums to deputy commissioners on Wednesday demanding an early solution to the Naga political issue.
In a statement issued by its president Sahleem Konyak and general secretary Shikuto Zalipu, the federation also expressed its gratefulness to Nagaland Tribes Council, Naga Council Dimapur, Mon Konyak Union, village council chairmen, Central Nagaland Tribes Council and all stakeholders for their support and participation in the rallies.
NFGB said it was grateful to Theja Therie, secretary mediation, district administration and the media too for being actively involved during the rallies.
Pointing out that the Naga political issue was a Naga people’s movement, the federation asserted that it was time for all Nagas to unite and raise their voice for permanent peace in “our land”.
