Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland, Abhijit Sinha, through a notification has informed concerned individuals that Chuna Pathshala/Voters Awareness Forums, are to be constituted and training on voters’ awareness has to be imparted for disseminating electoral literacy among the people at the grass-root levels.
A DIPR report stated that in view of the above, a one day training program, for those who missed the first training on October 9, is scheduled at the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on November 19, 10 am, where two representatives of each of the following civil society organizations have been invited to attend: All Mokokchung Students Conference (Mokokchung), lmkongwati and one colleague; Metamorphosis (Wokha), Thungdemo and Yanchum; Chakhesang Women Welfare Society (Phek), Achule and one colleague; Longleng Town Students’ Union (Longleng), S. Chingnung Phom and one colleague; and Area Students’ Union (Pughoboto), Qhetoshe and one colleague. Participants will be paid allowances as admissible.
