Kuda B Khel was declared a Plastic Free Zone on October 27 by the Thenupfuko Kkrotho Kuda B Khel (women organization).
A press release from Thenupfuko Kkrotho president, Alono Sakhrie and secretary, Kosievino Khate urged all business establishments in the jurisdiction and all consumers/customers to abide by the resolution in support of the Nagaland CM’s declaration of “Nagaland plastic free zone” in the first week of November 2018.
Kuda village ‘B’ Khel women organisation also requested every citizen within its jurisdiction to avoid using plastic bags and rather opt for re-usable bags, jute bags and cloth bags for a cleaner, safer and eco-friendly environment.
