Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) organized a training program on leadership skills and good governance at the Assisi auditorium on December 14. A press release from ACID director, Sr. Pramila stated that, resource person Garrol from Peace Channel explained the various characteristics of good governance. Sunita, coordinator for SHG spoke on the purpose of forming the SHG and its benefits. Kayia the SHG program coordinator explained the maintenance of the SHG records. Earlier, Sr. Pramila in her welcome address said that a woman is a change maker and builder of the family as her leadership skills can unite or break the family. The program was attended by 145 members. SHGs were encouraged to continue the groups by helping one another.
