Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) has condemned the abduction of a Naga sales woman allegedly by NSCN (I-M) cadres for ransom on November 9.
Condemning the act, DAYO president, Aotemsu and general secretary, S Pangertoshi, said such a despicable act was alien to Naga culture and ethos.
The organisation said no reason could justify such an act perpetrated on any woman who could be someone’s daughter, wife, sister or mother.
DAYO lauded Dimapur police for arresting the kidnappers and has extended its support to the police for justice to be served and rule of the law to prevail in Dimapur.
