The Phek District Gaonburah Association (PDGBA) has expressed support for the stand of Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) towards solving the protracted Naga political issue.
PDGBA president, Zadülü Ringa and general secretary, Müzilhü V. Kehyo, in a press release, urged the Government of India (GoI) to bring all the stakeholders, including the Naga Political Groups, to the negotiating table for bringing lasting peace and solution that is acceptable and honourable to one and all.
“At this juncture ‘peace meal peace’ need to be omitted in the diary of the negotiation process as Nagas want solution which is inclusive and permanent” it said.
It also welcomed the Khango Konyak led NSCN (K)’s decision to re-enter into a cease fire agreement with the GoI. “This shows your leadership maturity in the matter of respecting the general sentiments of the Nagas and for which we convey our wholeheartedly support” it concluded.
