Public Action Committee (PAC), Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has expressed deep shock at the brutal murder of Shenili Shohe by unknown persons at 7th Mile Model village here on December 24 evening.
While strongly condemning such heinous crime committed on a woman, which it termed as cowardly, PAC said the incident should be condemned by one and all.
In a statement issued by its convener Vekhosayi Nyekha and co-convener K Ghokheto Chophy, the committee also appealed to the investigation agency to arrest the culprits involved at the earliest and award most stringent punishment.
It also urged village authorities concerned to extend all possible help and cooperation to nab the culprits.
Expressing its serious concern over repeated incidences of crime, PAC further appealed to security agencies and citizens to stay alert to avoid such incidents.
