
Tourism, Art & Culture advisor, H Khehovi inaugurated the Tizu Island Range GBs Association (TIRGBA) Silver Jubilee stone on December 28.
A press release by press secretary to the advisor stated that the advisor in his address as special guest, congratulated the GBs of Tizu Island Range and lauded them on reaching 25 years in spite of being in a neglected area. He further said that Tizu Island Range, with its scenic beauty and natural fauna, could be converted into a tourist destination if people of the area cooperate with each other and continue to maintain the spirit of brotherhood like they had been doing since time immemorial.
On tourism in the state, H. Khehovi remarked that Nagaland in general was a God gifted land with natural beauty and his dream was to identify most of the tourist spots in Nagaland and make them tourist destinations to boost Naga economy. He also appealed to the people to keep praying without ceasing so that his vision could turn into a reality.
