AR Kohima battalion celebrates Christmas

Kohima battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organised a Christmas Day Celebration at Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home on December 25.

According to PRO, HQ IGAR (N), the aim of the event was to celebrate the auspicious day and share warm wishes with staff and children of Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home. The celebration commenced with a cake cutting ceremony, in which 90 children and staff participated. Assam Rifles in collaboration with NGO Sun Bird Trust, Banglore also presented blankets and bed sheets to the children.
