GSU celebrates Silver Jubilee

The Ghotovi Students Union (GSU) celebrated its Silver Jubilee at Ghotovi village on December 29 under the theme, “Education is a big weapon.”

A press release from GSU stated that in his address as special guest, minister, PHED, Jacob Zhimomi lauded pioneers of the union for its formation for the students’ welfare. Jacob encouraged the students to strive for excellence, stating that success belonged to those who work hard.

Jacob further stated that parents have a big role in shaping children’s career and proper guidance from parents is one of the basic requirements for children. The minister also encouraged students to be agents of change, give God the first place, make prayer a weapon and work hard.

Earlier, the minister unveiled the jubilee stone and the guest speaker, CNCCI chairman, Dr. Khekugha Murru released the jubilee souvenir.
