PWD has resumed road repairing and blacktopping in Wokha district, which had earlier been stopped due to the monsoon season.
A press release by Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) president Lipemo M Tsopoe and general secretary Ashanthung Humtsoe has reminded the concerned department to monitor and prioritize the list of roads for HQ Wokha. LSU also stated that work repair should be done as per specifications issued through the head office under government directives.
LSU, while appreciating the department for carrying out the works on time, has also assured it of the union’s support for successful quality workmanship through constant monitoring.
