Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, has informed all landowners and beneficiaries of New Chumukedima village, affected by the New BG Railway line approach road of Tunnel 3 from face 2 to face 1 under Dimapur district, that compensation for land, buildings and other items will be paid on January 7, 1 p.m. onwards at the DC Dimapur’s Conference Hall.
In a press release, DC Dimapur informed concerned members of the concerned village council to be present in person for identification of landowners and beneficiaries, and issue of NOCs during disbursal of cheques, failing which payment will be withheld.
The DC further directed all affected landowners and beneficiaries to be present in person along with identity proof, bank passbook (original and photocopy) and five copies of passport photos. Payment will not be released to any representative other than the concerned person.
