Land Owners’ Union (LOU) Doyang Hydro-Electric Project (DHEP) Wokha on Monday welcomed the Director (Technical), North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO Ltd) Shillong, V. K Singh, at DHEP Doyang and submitted a representation demanding various infrastructural developments at the project site in Doyang.
In a press release, LOU reported that the union has demanded, through the representation, immediate widening, strengthening and premixed carpeting of the DHEP colony roads.
Among other things LOU, also sought renovation of the main office building, inspection bungalow and NRC hall DHEP.
Further, the union also urged the corporation to expedite the approved construction of a Bailey bridge that will connect the administrative office, the power house and the dam.
