In connection with the special summary revision with reference to January 1, 2019, as the qualifying date, a meeting was convened at the office chamber of SDO (C) Kiphire Hq., Longdiba L. Sangtam for final publication of the Electoral Roll on January 10.
During the meeting, the SDO (C) thanked the political parties for their cooperation towards producing an error-free E-Roll and towards other election related matters. The program was chaired by Assistant Election Officer (AEO) Kiphire, Olivi Thurr. It was attended by political party leaders from Kiphire district. Two copies of the final roll (One soft copy and one hard copy) each were handed over to all recognized political parties.
Interested individuals may inspect the Kiphire E-Roll (59 Seyochung Sitimi A/C & 60 Pungro Kiphire A/C) at the AEO’s office during office hours.
DIPR adds: The list of amendments to the draft electoral roll for various districts, have been prepared with reference to January 1, 2019 as the qualifying date, and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
An official bulletin reported from the constituencies:
1) Kohima — 8-Western Angami, 9-Kohima Town, 10-Northern Angami-I, 11-Northern Angami-II, 12-Tseminyu, 14- Southern Angami-I and 15- Southern Angami-II Assembly Constituencies.
2) Mokokchung — 21-Tuli, 22-Arakakong, 23-Impur, 24-Angetyongpang, 25-Mongoya, 26-Aonglenden, 27-Mokokchung Town, 28-Koridang, 29-Jangpetkong and 30-Alongtaki.
3) For Dimapur — 1 Dimapur-I, 2 Dimapur-II, 3 Dimapur-III, 4 Ghaspani-I and 5 Ghaspani-II.
4) For Mon — 41-Tizit A/C, 42-Wakching A/C, 43-Tapi A/C. 44-Phomching A/C, 45-Tehok A/C, 46-Mon Town A/C, 47-Aboi A/C, 48-Moka A/C and 55-Tobu A/C.
5) For Peren — 6-Tening and 7-Peren A/Cs on 10th January 2019 at ADC office chamber Old Town Peren.
In Kohima, copies of the said roll, together with the said amendments, have been published and will be available for inspection at the office of the ADC and Electoral Registration Officer Kohima as well as the Booth Level Officer.
In Mokokchung, a copy will be available for inspection in the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner & Electoral Registration Officer, Mokokchung.
In Dimapur, a copy will be available for inspection at the Electoral Registration Officer’s office during office hours.
For Mon, a copy may be inspected at the ADC & ERO’s office during office hours.
