Dimapur bids farewell to DC

A farewell program was organised for outgoing Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, on January 11 at the Conference Hall of the DC.

According to a DIPR report, in his farewell speech, Sushil Kumar Patel described his tenure in Dimapur as “peaceful” and thanked the people and officials for their support and cooperation.

He also thanked the government for posting him to Dimapur few days before the State Assembly Elections of 2018. 

Patel acknowledged his subordinate officers and all persons involved in the successful completion of the Assembly Elections and by-Lok Sabha election.

Incoming DC, Kevekha Kevin Zehol, lauded the outgoing DC for the successful conduct of two elections during his stay in Dimapur and wished him well in all his future endeavours.

Short speeches were delivered by SDC (C) Dimapur, Nympho Wallim, ADC Niuland, Athrila S, superintendent, Longri Ao, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, Limasunep, head of departments, representatives from NGOs, Civil Societies and well wishers.

The farewell program was chaired by ADC Dimapur, Albert Ezung, invocation was offered by UDA, Ainla Jamir and vote of thanks by SDO (C) Dimapur, Zubenthung Ngullie.
