A Table Tennis Hall and a Central Police Canteen (CPC), subsidiary canteen were inaugurated by SP Wokha, Manojkumar on January 9 at DEF Wokha.
A press release from Police Baptist Church Wokha stated that Manojkumar, in his short speech, said that police personnel have to stay fit and strong and to facilitate this end, the tennis hall had been constructed. He urged all rank and file, jawans and their families to make use of the hall judiciously in their extracurricular activities.
The Wokha SP also inaugurated a CPC subsidiary canteen for DEF Wokha in their office premises.
Earlier, Myingthungo Ezung, home evangelist, Police Baptist Church, Wokha dedicated the tennis hall and ABSI, Mhabemo Ngullie, J. A R HQ Wokha chaired the program. The canteen was dedicated by Zubenthung Ngullie, pastor, Police Baptist Church, Wokha. UBI Kevi-o Khatso, CI Wokha chaired the canteen inaugural program and a vote of thanks was pronounced by additional SP, Wokha Tumchobemo Yanthan.
