
Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) and Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) in collaboration with district administration, government departments, stakeholders & NGOs, will be organizing a Mega Legal Services Camp on January 19 at Local Ground, Wokha.
According to DIPR, the purpose of the camp is to sensitize the public, particularly marginalized sections of society, on free Legal Aid. The public will also have the opportunity to interact with several government departments including banks and get oriented to various welfare programs/schemes of the government.
The Legal Services Authority booths will offer legal assistance in filling of forms, drafting affidavits etc. Volunteers at various booths will assist senior citizens, the differently–abled and daily wage earners to register for various governmental sponsored benefits and schemes.
In this regard, interested individuals have been requested to bring relevant documents (Birth certificates, Resident certificates, Bank passbooks, ID cards etc.) to avail the services.
