As the conferences and conventions continue to be held across Nagaland, reports of these continue to come in. Following are reports of some of these events.

NPBCA Triennial Convention & General Annual Council: Nagaland Police Baptist Churches Association (NPBCA) held its 7th Triennial Convention and 30th General Annual Council program from January 11 to 13, at Police Baptist Church, Chümoukedima under the theme “Knitted Together in Christ”.
A press release from NPBCA media and publicity committee stated that the convention was conducted under the leadership of the NPBCA president A. Temsu, vice president V. Rhakho, recording secretary Tsisepi Sangtam, and assistant recording secretary Neibu Sanchu. 
The speakers for the program were Discipleship Bible College; associate professor L. Mhonthung Humtsoe, Ao Christian Revival Church Dimapur senior pastor Rev. Dr. Imchayanger and NPBCA president A. Temsu. 
Altogether, 255 delegates (Male – 158; Female – 97) from 28 associate Churches, besides members of the host Church attended the three day program. 
The first night witnessed a grand opening led by NPBCA executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Hukashe A. Zhimomi. 
At the program, a welcome address was delivered by PBC Chümoukedima pastor Rev. Manen. 
Focusing on the theme A. Temsu emphasized on the need for everyone to work together for progression the Church and for the glory of God. 
On the second day of the program, reports were presented by the association’s HODs and all associate Churches. 
The 2018 Audit Report was also tabled and evaluated and accepted by the House by voice vote. The afternoon session saw the delegates divided into three focus groups. 
In the evening revival service, Ao Christian Revival Church Dimapur senior pastor Rev. Dr. Imchayanger, as speaker spoke on the topic, ‘We Are One in The Spirit’.
In the Sunday morning devotional service, L. Mhonthung Humtsoe spoke on the topic ‘Oneness in Christ’. 
The afternoon session witnessed the business session and budget presentation where budget for the current year was thoroughly deliberated and passed. 
In the evening worship service, L. Mhonthung Humtsoe spoke on the topic “Celebrating our differences.” 
A new team of NPBCA officer bearers was elected with V. Rhakho as the new president, Sashi as vice president, including two others.
Later, vote of thanks on behalf of the host Church was delivered by deacon Akum Abraham, and the closing act was performed by PBC Peren who will be the host of the 31th General Annual Council.
During the three day convention, the greetings and exhortations were delivered by T. John Longkumer, DGP Nagaland; Aotemsu, DIGP (Training & Border) & Camp Commandant; M. Rhovisie Nyuwi, Commandant 12th NAP (IR) Bn.; and Razouvotuo Chatsu, chairman, Chümoukedima Village.
During the Convention, the worship team from PBC 3rd NAP Tuensang led the congregation in hymn and revival songs in all the services. Choirs from PBC Chümoukedima, Town Baptist Church Chümoukedima and various groups and soloists presented special songs and musical acts.
KASU holds 43rd General Conference: Khaghaboto Area Students’ Union (KASU) held its 43rd General Conference at Yehokhu village under the theme, “Moving Further” with Jonah Achumi as the guest speaker. The conference was held from January 11 to 13.
A press release issued by KASU media cell stated that Achumi dwelt on the need for a vision and farsightedness in order to stride forward. He also stressed on the sorry state of affairs in Naga society today, full of division, confusion and lawlessness all over the land.
Espousing on the need for unity to move forward, Achumi lamented the untimely demise of many Nagas in their primes owing to their lifestyles which he said was a matter of great concern. He also shared on population dynamics sating that Nagas needed to create a sustainable population in order to meet the labour demand to generate and boost a Naga economy. 
Nagas being blessed with abundant rich resources and fertile land should tap their own energy and resources through fishery, piggery, cattle rearing, organic farming, added Achumi. He also spoke on the need to change one’s perception about education being mere book knowledge, although in today’s world skill development, Achumi said, was a necessity in order to survive.
He added that Nagas have to stop blaming only their leaders for everything, because people choose their own leaders and everyone gets the government they deserve. He shared examples and references from various backgrounds and different walks of life. Besides these points he shared some examples from the Bible on how to do one’s own part also while putting faith and trust in God.
KSU 56th General Session concludes: The 56th General Session of the Khiamniungan Students’ Union (KSU), held under the theme, “Discover the difference,” concluded at Kingniu village on January 11 after a three-day program of various cultural and literary events. 
A press release from KSU information and publicity secretary, L. Shingnya stated that C. Phuniang, SDO (Civil) Noklak, as special guest, spoke on the theme and emphasized on discovering differences within oneself amidst various political, social, cultural, environmental and political challenges. 
President KTC, Ngon and general secretary ENSF, Imtichoba also spoke on the occasion. Cultural events and literary activities occupied the second day under the theme “Cultura social” and “Strive for progress and not perfection” respectively. 
Er. Elo, president, Khiamniungan Sports Council (KSC) spoke on the importance and preservation of one’s rich cultural heritage. The literary night was graced by Er. Chillia, SDO (NH). N.S Khaikho DCPO Tuensang was the speaker for the practical session.
The tenure 2019-2021 will be led by P. Hatho as president, Talamong as vice-president, Puthai T as general secretary and Mushiu as the assistant general secretary. 
SRSU holds 43rd General Conference: The three-day Satoi Range Students Union (SRSU) 43rd General Conference was held from January 4 to 6, in Khuvuxu under the theme “Amelioration”.
Speaking at the culmination program as the guest of honour, DADU vice president and entrepreneur, Tito Yepthomi, in his speech encouraged students to not only depend on government jobs but to learn to use their abilities in become entrepreneurs. He also mentioned that today with the rapid development of society, entrepreneurship had become one of the most dynamic forces of the economy. 
The increase in the number of graduates has only increased the burden on the government to create more jobs, he said while adding that a positive change should be brought about by the growth of entrepreneurship which will also help a number of young people, especially high school and college dropouts, or those less qualified. 
Yepthomi further encouraged the gathering to cooperate with the union so that it would be able to move forward and work for a better tomorrow. 
Earlier, an invocation prayer was offered by Ikiye Baptist Church pastor Nighato Swu and later, vote of thanks was delivered by SRSU advisor, Samuel Achumi.
