SBAK Children’s Festival concludes

The Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu’s (SBAK’s) 7th Children’s Festival concluded on a high note on January 13, with Tosheni Kinny, wife of Kazheto Kinny, advisor, Skill, Labor Development and CAWD giving the key note address.

A press release issued by SBAK media cell stated that Tosheni stressed on how children could be agents in transforming today’s society. She implored to all Churches to consistently uphold the idea of organizing children festivals as it had an immense impact upon today’s children.
She stated that children were the greatest assets men could have from God which, she said, is far above any earthly wealth.
Rev. Mulato Chishi, executive secretary SBAK, was the speaker during the Sunday worship, where he challenged students to cement their relationship with Jesus as their Saviour from childhood. He said that this would enable them to have a fruitful future and that God would do new things in the life of those who put their trust in His Lordship. 
During the service, children ministry secretary, Aniholi Aye also gave away prizes to various competition winners. 
At the end of the service, Azhuto Awomi, chairman, Planning proposed a vote of thanks and Rev. Tokhezhe Kiba, pastoral care secretary pronounced the benediction. The next SBAK children festival will be hosted by Atoizu Town Baptist Church in 2021.
