Reacting to the announcement of election/selection of Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA), the advisors of DDGBA have asked the association to reschedule/postpone the selection/nomination to the month of February.
In a letter addressed to DDGBA acting president, advisors of DDGBA, M Y Ngullie and Veyito Chishi, said though the association has scheduled selection/nomination of office bearers on January 22, there has been “differences of opinion within the members of different tribes of GBs”. The advisors pointed out that in such a situation there were chances of “misunderstanding and miscommunication” and may affect the smooth functioning and affective administration of the office.
To avert such situation, the advisors have urged the association to reschedule the selection/nomination for the “interest and coordination within the members”.
