Voters Awareness Forum launched in Wokha

A Voters Awareness Forum launching program was held on January 16 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Wokha.

A DIPR report stated that addressing Nodal Officers nominated from various departments, NGOs and civil societies, SDO (C) Chonpenthung Ezung said the Election Commission of India, to generate awareness among voters about their rights and franchise, launched this forum to serve the purpose of imparting voter education to all employees in an organization.

AEO Wokha, Aketo Shohe also said that very shortly, training for the Nodal officers will be conducted. The launching function was chaired by AEO, Wokha.
