A workshop on Technology Aids to Investigation (TAI) was organised by District Executive Force (DEF) Wokha at the SP’s office conference hall, Wokha on January 16.
A press release from DEF Wokha stated that Michael Yhome, deputy SP & OC (cyber) and ASI, Vizotuonyu Medom as resource persons spoke about cyber crime investigation, phone forensics and call detail record analysis with practical case studies. Earlier, SP Wokha, Manojkumar also elaborated for participants, information through open sources.
The workshop was held to foster an understanding of social media as an aid to investigation and to understand and gain knowledge of CDR analysis and tools. Altogether 30 representatives from crime branch staff, district crime record bureau, GOs and NGOs from DEF Wokha attended the program.
