DCC Mokokchung inaugurates Impur ACCC Bhawan

The District Congress Committee (DCC), Mokokchung, inaugurated the 23rd Impur ACCC Bhawan, on Monday, at the residence of Jongtosang, Kobulong with NPCC vice president, Jonathan Ao, as the special guest.

Jonathan lauded the party workers for remaining disciplined and steadfast, holding onto the Indian National Congress (INC) constitution and ideology. He said, the party might have been reduced in numbers, but it was better for a “few to be strongly united” than a “larger number to be disunited”. Jonathan stated that the INC party believes in principles of “respect and not criticism”, therefore, he appealed to the party workers to strictly maintain party office protocol in the newly inaugurated ACCC Bhawan.

Earlier, short speeches were delivered by DCC Mokokchung president, Watimongba Aier (who also installed the new 23 Impur ACCC & Units officials), NPCC secretary Rongsenshilu, Mahila president, Chubala and a host of frontal officials. The inauguration program was chaired by ACCC general secretary Chuba Aier; the invocation was said by Merentoba. A welcome note was delivered by out-going ACCC president Rendimar and the vote of thanks was proposed by incoming ACCC president Temjensangba.
