DDSL holds coordination meeting

Dimapur District Seva Dal (DDSL) and Young Brigade, held a coordination meeting on February 23, at the conference hall of Dimapur District Congress office with Seva Dal office bearers and Seva Dal volunteers from several districts and constituencies.

A press release from DDSL media cell stated that during the meeting chief organiser, Dimapur District Seva Dal, K. Aazo Rhakho spoke briefly on the history of the Seva Dal.

Rhakho appealed to the gathering to participate in nation building through the Congress’ ideology of secularism, tolerance and pluralism from which the Seva Dal was founded. 

Highlighting the need to “save our democracy from Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) communal agendas and divisive policies like the Citizenship Amendment Bill,” Rhakho emphasized on the urgent need to reach out to the grassroot levels. 

In this regard, he added that the Seva Dal will begin its door-to-door campaign across the state from March 5, for which it is training its volunteers. 

The meeting which was chaired by Akavi N Zhimomi, secretary (Organization), Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee. An interactive session with participants was also held where they shared their views and suggestions for successful conduct of the door-to-door campaign.
