Agro Servicing Centre inaugurated in Liphanyan

An Agro Service Centre was inaugurated at Liphanyan village under Wokha district on February 19, by SDO civil, Ralan, Meyazungba Jamir.

The centre was sponsored by the department of Agriculture, Nagaland under Sub-Mission on Agriculture Machinery (SMAM) 2018-19. A press release from agriculture inspector Wokha, Chumyani Ovung stated that the special guest Meyazungba Jamir congratulated the department of agriculture on the centre which, he said, will be of great help to the whole Ralan area. 

He also applauded Enibemeo Tungoe, proprietor of the centre, for having the courage to set up the centre.

Jamir also encouraged and advised all farmers and villagers present to extend their support to the proprietor and make use of his services instead of seeking help elsewhere. District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Wokha Santsu Kithan highlighted the objective of setting up the centre. 

A brief report on the centre was delivered by the proprietor. He also mentioned that he had undergone three training programs to set up the centre. 

The program was chaired by AO Mhathung Odyuo, vote of thanks was delivered by AI Chumyani Ovung. Altogether around 35 farmers attended the program.
