Clean Election Campaign (CEC), Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) and Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) have convened a prayer and consultation meeting for the ensuing 17th Lok Sabha election on April 2 at 11am NBCC Platinum Hall Bayavu, Kohima.
In a press release, CEC-NBCC convener Rev. Dr. Mar Atsonchanger and NJCF president Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho stated that letters have been dispatched to all candidates and political parties.
They requested the candidates and the political parties that have filed their candidates including the independent candidate, to send their candidates along with four party workers.
Other political parties that have not filed candidates have also been requested to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, CEC-NBCC and NJCF have also requested pastors in Kohima and Dimapur and all the denomination leaders to attend the prayer and consultation meeting on April 2.
